As a result of signing up to the Kyoto Protocol, the EU is now in the process of issuing the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive, which will be incorporated in to UK law via. the building regulations in April 2006.

Our organisation will offer a variety of services as part of these far-reaching changes, which will affect existing as well as new buildings, such as:

• Design of systems in new and refurbished buildings to comply with the increasingly stringent requirements of building regulations.
• Submission of energy performance calculations at planning stage.
• Inspection and issue of building energy certificates / ratings following completion of construction.
• Energy efficiency audits during the lifetime of buildings with issue of energy performance ratings.

We are committed to recruiting and training personnel to meet the requirements of these regulations and to implementing the associated monitoring systems.
